The 6 Degrees team is comprised of highly experienced, detail-oriented, animal-loving communications professionals who are passionate about telling our clients’ stories. We also tap into the expertise of our world-class consultants to deliver superior results.

  • Principal

    Tony has accumulated a track record of superior results as a strategist, company spokesperson and counselor to senior management over more than 30 years. He has created and executed communication programs that drive business results in multiple industries, including healthcare, financial services and B2B. And he has guided companies through most every type of event, including M&A, IPOs, product launches / withdrawals, litigation and C-suite turnover. Since founding 6 Degrees in 2007, clients have relied on Tony and his team to aid their financing, business development, marketing and hiring efforts. In addition to his day job, Tony currently serves on the board of directors of the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) and watches his beloved Syracuse Orange basketball team whenever possible. Tony earned an MBA at New York University's Stern School of Business, and a BA in Public Relations at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications. He also served as an adjunct professor at New York University’s M.S. in Public Relations and Communications program from 2006 until 2011. Tony lives in the western Philly suburbs with his family, including two dogs.   • Chief Operating Officer

    Annie joined 6 Degrees as the firm’s first full-time employee in 2008. She leads day-to-day operations and facilitates the team’s flawless execution and delivery of results for clients. She has provided biopharma companies of all sizes and stages of development with strategic and tactical support for a range of milestones, including launches, financings, IPO withdrawals, data readouts, leadership transitions and regulatory actions. Her communications experience in both corporate and agency settings, as well as her graduate-level education from New York University, has given her a strong foundation for servicing the life sciences industry.   • Senior Vice President

    Gina brings a wealth of healthcare public relations experience to 6 Degrees. Her areas of expertise include advocacy, brand communications, coalition development, consumer campaigns, issues management, patient ambassador programs, policy and public health. For more than 20 years, Gina has supported a range of clients including biotechnology, food and nutrition, nonprofits, hospital alliances, insurers, medical device and pharmaceutical organizations.   • Administrative Lead

    Debbie is an expert in office and project management. Her decades-long career across administration and project management began at the FBI and led her into telecommunications and ultimately healthcare. She has supported 6 Degrees’ administrative functions, from invoicing to technology, for more than a decade. She is a graduate of Miami Dade College, and also completed several management courses at the FBI Academy. Debbie resides in Tennessee with her cat, Lucy.

    Julia is a skilled storyteller with a passion for healthcare and experience in supporting the communication strategies of a diverse portfolio of life science companies. She began her career in fast-paced startup environments leading the social media and marketing strategies of mission-minded female empowerment brands. She brings to the 6 Degrees team an intuitive acuity for capturing and amplifying strong brand voices and communicating key messages to target audiences.
